Marshmallow Sofa is an ad-hoc sculpture made to celebrate the grand opening of Converso Modern West, the Los Angeles branch of the Chicago-founded mid-century furniture dealer Converso Modern.

The gallery chose to highlight George Nelson's iconic Marshmallow Sofa, designed on behalf of Herman Miller. In preparation for the project, half of the cushions were removed, and the remaining cushions were reupholstered in vinyl.

Before eating, the edible "cushions" were briefly torched in order to replicate the smell of toasted marshmallow.
